We are looking forward to meeting you and your pets. To make the experience as smooth as possible, we have set up the following guidelines for making appointments.
To make an appointment to have your animal seen for an exam, please call ahead of time. In general, we have office calls in the mornings and afternoons, with surgeries and other procedures scheduled midday. For established clients who might not be able to make one of our scheduled appointments, we offer drop-off exams – one of our veterinarians will examine your pet during the course of the day, and then contact you by phone with their recommendations.
We also have Wednesday evening hours between 6 and 7 pm for those who call ahead to schedule an appointment.
For urgent and emergency appointments, when at all possible, please call us first to make sure that we have a veterinarian available to examine and treat your pet. Life-threatening emergencies will be given priority over all scheduled appointments. Ill and injured pets that are stable will be worked in between scheduled appointments as soon as possible. For those clients whose scheduled exams are delayed due to unexpected emergencies, we appreciate your understanding.
Appointments for surgery, dentals, X-rays, ultrasound and other procedures can be made either in person or by phone, provided one of our veterinarians has performed a recent examination. These services are generally scheduled Monday through Friday, and most of the time you will be dropping off your pet in the morning between 7 and 9 am, and scheduling a pick-up time later that day or the following day.
If you have to cancel or change an appointment, please call us ASAP so we can accommodate other clients who might need the appointment time to have their pets seen. We appreciate your consideration.
